Liang Weikeng is a Chinese badminton player. In 2018, he won two gold medals in two events at the World Junior Championships in Markham and the Asia Junior Championships in Jakarta. He won his first World Tour title at the 2022 Japan Open with Wang Chang.

Tim He Yi-ming is a Chinese former badminton player who later started to represent Hong Kong. He competed in two events at the 1996 Summer Olympics.

Xian Xinghai or Sinn Sing Hoi was one of the earliest generation of Chinese composers influenced by western classical music and has influenced generations of Chinese musicians. Xian composed in all the major musical forms, and is best known for the Yellow River Cantata upon which the Yellow River Concerto for piano and orchestra is based.

Lin Shusen is a politician of the People's Republic of China. He was Governor and Deputy Communist Party Chief of Guizhou Province from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that he was Communist Party Chief and Mayor of Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province.
