Imai Masato is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet. A native of Gero, Gifu he attended Sophia University as an undergraduate. Upon graduation, he joined Sanwa Bank in 1985 and worked in Chicago, Illinois for five years from 1989. He entered The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ in 2004 as a currency trader. In 2009 he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time and has been subsequently re-elected in 2012, 2014 and 2017.

Eriko Kitagawa is a Japanese screenwriter and film director. She is best known for writing Japanese television dramas, notably Long Vacation (1996), Beautiful Life (2000), Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi (2002) and Orange Days (2004).

Following retirement in 2015, he has become a color commentator for Dragons broadcasts for the NHK.

Kosei Tanaka is a Japanese professional boxer. He is a three-weight world champion, having held the WBO mini-flyweight title from 2015 to 2016; the WBO junior-flyweight title from 2016 to 2017; and the WBO flyweight title from 2018 to 2020. Upon winning his first world title in only his fifth bout, he became the fastest Japanese fighter ever to become a world champion. Along with Vasyl Lomachenko, he is also the fastest ever fighter to win titles in three weight-classes, having accomplished the feat in only 12 bouts.
