Marcel Odenbach is a German video artist. In the 1970s, with Ulrike Rosenbach and Klaus vom Bruch, he formed the producer group ATV. Odenbach's works criticize the conditions of German society.

Beate A. Schücking, is the 968th President of Leipzig University and Professor of Health Science and Psychosocial Medicine. She is the author of numerous articles and papers on aspects of scientific research and professional education. Schücking is also the first woman to become Leipzig University President since its founding in 1409.

Beate Walter-Rosenheimer is a German politician of Alliance 90/The Greens who has been serving as a member of the Bundestag from the state of Bavaria since 2012.

Stefan Lindemann is a German figure skater. He is the 2004 World bronze medalist, 2005 European bronze medalist, 2000 World Junior champion, and a seven-time German national champion.

Arnold Angelus Schölzel is a German editor and former defector, currently the editor-in-chief of the far-left newspaper Junge Welt. Prior to 1989, Schölzel worked at Humboldt University in East Berlin, and also was an informant for the East German domestic intelligence agency, the Stasi.

Andreas Nischwitz is a former West German pair skater. He was born in Leinfelden, Germany. With partner Susanne Scheibe, he won the gold medal at the German Figure Skating Championships in 1977 and 1978, finishing eighth at both the European Figure Skating Championships and World Figure Skating Championships in both years. He then teamed with Christina Riegel and won the German title three straight years, starting in 1979. They finished eighth at the 1980 Winter Olympics, and the following year, the pair won the silver medal at the European Championships and the bronze at the World Championships.

Ralf Scheepers is the vocalist for German heavy metal band Primal Fear. He has a relatively high-pitched tenor-esque singing voice and sometimes uses a shriek reminiscent of Judas Priest's Rob Halford, although it is his baritone lows which give him a near four-octave range in the modal register. He has also sung in Gamma Ray and Tyran' Pace. Scheepers has also done guest vocals for the bands Scanner, Therion, Ayreon, and Shadow Gallery, and worked with Tom Galley on Phenomena's Blind Faith album. He currently provides instruction for all around singing, music, studio and recording/processing techniques at RS Vocal Works in Baltmannsweiler, Germany.
