Finnia Wunram is a German swimmer, specialising in open water events. She competed in the women's 10 km and 25 km events at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships, winning a silver medal in the latter. She qualified to represent Germany at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Leonie Swann is the nom de plume of a German crime writer. She studied philosophy, psychology and English literature in Munich, and now lives in Berlin.

Fatma Aydemir is a German author and journalist based in Berlin. She is best known for her novel Ellbogen (Elbow), which won both the 2018 Franz Hessel Prize and the Klaus Michael Kühne prize for best debut novel of 2017.

Hans-Joachim Klein is a former member of the German left-wing militant group Revolutionary Cells (RZ). His nom de guerre was "Angie". In 1975, Klein participated in an attack on OPEC headquarters in Vienna organized by the international terrorist "Carlos the Jackal", in which he was seriously injured. He publicly renounced political violence two years later. After decades in hiding, he was arrested in 1998, prosecuted for his role in the OPEC attack, and sentenced to nine years' imprisonment. He was paroled in 2003.
