Tarkan Karaalioğlu, better known as MOK, is a German rapper of Turkish descent. His name "MOK" means "Muzik oder Knast". It was awarded to him by Berlin hip hopper Maxim. He is a member of rap crew Die Sekte. He got his own label at Sony BMG called Yo!Musix.

Antje Buschschulte is a former German swimmer. Her best disciplines were the short distance backstroke and freestyle races. Buschschulte swam for the sporting club SC Magdeburg. She participated in Olympic Games 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008 and won 5 olympic Bronze Medals. She was World Champion in 100m backstroke 2003 in Barcelona. In total Antje won 57 international medals. She is the only German swimmer who participated for 14 years in a row (1995–2008) in every major longcourse championship.

John-Jason "J-J" Peterka is a German professional ice hockey centre playing as a prospect for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 34th overall by the Sabres in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. He made his professional debut with EHC Red Bull München in Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).

Matthias Politycki is a German novelist and poet. He studied in Munich and Vienna and obtained a PhD in philosophy in 1987. His first novel Aus Fälle/Zerlegung des Regenbogens. Ein Entwickelungsroman. appeared that same year. His breakthrough came in 1997 with Weiberroman and in 2008 with his cruise ship satire In 180 Tagen um die Welt.

Franziska Liebhardt is a Paralympic athlete from Germany. She competes in throwing events in the F37 classification and in the long jump in the T37 classification. As of September 2016, she holds the women's F37 world record in the shot put, which she set whilst competing at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Christoph Stephan is a former German biathlete. In 2008, he won his first single World Cup Race.
