Rémi Talès is a French rugby union player. His position is fly-half and he currently plays for Mont-de-Marsan in the Pro D2. He began his career with Stade Montois before moving to La Rochelle. He established himself as a key player at La Rochelle, helping them to promotion to the Top 14 in the 2009–10 season. After La Rochelle's relegation in 2011, he moved to Castres.

Claude Cerval was a French film actor. He appeared in more than forty films from 1955 to 1971.

Sarah Soilihi is a French athlete, politician, and political spokesperson. A victory at the World Traditional Kickboxing Association in 2015 made her a competitive kick-boxing champion, and the following year she was a French national champion in semi-contact karate. Beginning in 2012 she was an active member of the French Socialist Party, and she ran on socialist party lists in elections in 2014 and 2015 but did not obtain a seat. During the 2017 French presidential election, she was the main spokesperson for Jean-Luc Mélenchon as he led the new party La France Insoumise. In late 2018, she left La France Insoumise for the left unity party Génération.s, and in 2019 she affiliated herself with the movement Pôle radical et écologiste (fr).

Thibaut Jean-Marie Michel Berland, known professionally as Breakbot, is a French musician, record producer and a DJ who has been signed with Ed Banger Records since May 2009.

Jean Josselin was a French welterweight boxer. He competed at the 1960 Olympics and won a bronze medal at the 1961 European Amateur Boxing Championships. After that he turned professional and won his first 19 bouts. On 25 April 1966 he won the European title, and later in 1966 unsuccessfully contested the WBA and WBC titles against Curtis Cokes. He lost the European title to Carmelo Bossi in 1967, regained it from Silvano Bertini in 1969, and lost four months later to Johann Orsolics. Josselin retired in 1972 after a string of 8 losses, 4 draws and 1 victory.

Arnaud Gérard is a French former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2005 and 2018 for the FDJ–BigMat and Fortuneo–Samsic teams. The cousin of former professional cyclist Cédric Hervé, Gérard now works as a directeur sportif for the Arkéa–Samsic team.

Louis-Eugène Cavaignac was a French general who put down a massive rebellion in Paris in 1848, known as the June Days uprising. This was a four-day riot against the Executive Commission, in which Cavaignac was the newly appointed Minister of War, who soon was granted dictatorial powers in order to suppress the revolt. By adopting ruthless methods, he achieved his objective, though some have claimed that he spent too long preparing for the operation, allowing the mob to strengthen their defences. He was thanked by the Parliament, but failed to be elected President of France, losing heavily to Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte in the 1848 election.
