Countess Anna Sibylle of Hanau-Lichtenberg was a German noblewoman. She was born in Lichtenberg, the eldest surviving daughter of Count Philipp IV and his wife, Countess Eleonore of Fürstenberg.

Emma Oudiou is a French athlete who competes in 3000 metre steeplechase events in international level events. She is a double bronze medalist in the European Athletics U23 Championships in this event.

Charles François Duhoux d'Hauterive fought in the War of the Austrian Succession and Seven Years' War, rising in rank to become a lieutenant colonel of cavalry. He became a French general officer during the French Revolutionary Wars. He was involved in a controversy during the 1792 Siege of Lille and later sent to fight in the War in the Vendée where he was wounded twice. After being defeated in battle by his Royalist nephew he was imprisoned but finally allowed to retire.

Juliette Mayniel is a French actress. She appeared in 35 films and television shows between 1958 and 1978. At the 10th Berlin International Film Festival, she won the Silver Bear for Best Actress for her role in the film The Fair. From 1964–68 she was the partner of the Italian actor Vittorio Gassman with whom she had a son, Alessandro, an actor too.

Sébastien Japrisot was a French author, screenwriter and film director. His pseudonym was an anagram of Jean-Baptiste Rossi, his real name. Renowned for subverting the rules of the crime genre, Japrisot broke down the established formulas "into their component pieces to re-combine them in original and paradoxical ways." Some critics argue that though Japrisot's work may lack the explicit experimental element present in the novels of some of his contemporaries, it shows influences of structuralist theories and the unorthodox techniques of the New Novelists.

Jean-Pierre Bachasson, Seigneur et 1er Comte de Montalivet was a French statesman and Peer of France. He was the father of Camille Bachasson, 3rd Count of Montalivet, Minister of the Interior under Louis-Philippe.

Frédéric Dumas was a French writer. He was part of a team of three, with Jacques-Yves Cousteau and Philippe Tailliez, who had a passion for diving, and developed the diving regulator with the aid of the engineer Émile Gagnan. Dumas participated with Cousteau in the discovery of deep sea reliefs and flora and fauna of deep sea life and in bringing it to the attention of the general public.

Pascal Brandys is a French engineer and entrepreneur. He is a graduate of the École Polytechnique and received his M.S. in Economic Systems from Stanford University in 1982. He began his career in venture capital first in Tokyo and then in London, where he contributed to the first wave of biotechnology companies in Europe. He was the former president and founder of Genset Corporation, which became the European flagship in the field of genomics and at some point the second largest biotechnology company in Europe. He was also a co-founder and former president of France Biotech, the trade association of biotechnology companies in France. In 2001 he co-founded the biotechnology holding company Biobank in San Diego. In 2020 he co-founded Phylex BioSciences, Inc., a company based in San Diego developing a universal vaccine against the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
