Ole Torvalds was a Finnish-Swedish journalist and poet. He was the father of journalist-politician Nils Torvalds and grandfather of software engineer Linus Torvalds famous for the Linux kernel.

Kyösti Kallio was a Finnish politician of the Agrarian League who served as the fourth President of Finland from 1937–1940. He was a prominent leader of the Agrarian League, and served as Prime Minister four times and Speaker of the Parliament six times.

Pekka Juhani "P. J." Hannikainen was a Finnish composer and the head of the musical branch of the prominent Hannikainen family. His uncle was the writer and journalist Pietari Hannikainen.
