Alexander Ian Sharp is an English actor known for originating the role of Christopher Boone in the Broadway Production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

Hryhoriy Mykytovych Vasiura was originally a senior lieutenant in the Red Army who was captured during the Nazi invasion of the USSR in 1941 and subsequently volunteered for service in the Schutzmannschaft and the Waffen-SS. Vasiura's wartime activities were not fully revealed until the mid-1980s, when he was convicted as a war criminal by a Soviet military court and executed in 1987 for his role in the Khatyn massacre.

Jacqueline "Jacka" Lölling is a German skeleton racer who has won numerous races and championships, including the inaugural Winter Youth Olympics skeleton competition in 2012 and the 2017 World Championships. She began competing in skeleton at the age of 12, and was selected to the German national team in 2009. She won her first two international races, as a fifteen-year-old on the Europe Cup circuit, at Cesana Pariol in 2010. Her personal coach is Kathi Wichterle, and she rides an FES sled. When not racing, Lölling works for the German Federal Police.

Hermine "Miep" Gies, was one of the Dutch citizens who hid Anne Frank, her family and four other Dutch Jews from the Nazis in an annex above Otto Frank's business premises during World War II. She was Austrian by birth, but in 1920, at the age of eleven, she was taken in as a foster child by a Dutch family to whom she became very attached. Although she was initially only to stay for six months, this stay was extended to one year because of frail health, after which Gies chose to remain with them, living the rest of her life in the Netherlands. She died in 2010 at age 100.

Pavel Yuryevich Gubarev, born 10 February 1983 in Sievierodonetsk, is a Ukrainian pro-Russian activist who proclaimed himself the "People's Governor" of the Donetsk Region at the Regional Assembly on 3 March 2014, after separatists seized the building. Gubarev had earlier declared himself leader of the Donbas People's Militia. But since then he has been sidelined by other separatist leaders and was banned from taking part in the 2014 Donbas parliamentary elections. These elections also eliminated the post of "People's Governor". Gubarev was not a major figure in local politics prior to the beginning of the 2014 pro-Russian conflict in Ukraine.

Luís Espinal Camps (1932–1980), also known by the nickname "Lucho" and by the Catalan name Lluís Espinal i Camps, was a Spanish Jesuit priest, poet, journalist, filmmaker, and film critic.

Park Ji-hyo, known mononymously as Jihyo (Korean: 지효), is a South Korean singer and songwriter. She is the leader of the K-pop girl group Twice under JYP Entertainment.

William J. Larkin Jr. was an American politician from the Republican Party. He sat in the New York State Legislature for 40 years, representing various districts in the Hudson Valley. Larkin was a member of the State Assembly between 1979 and 1990, representing first the 97th and then the 95th Districts. He then sat in the State Senate from 1991 until his retirement in 2018, representing the 39th District. Before his career in state politics, Larkin had previously served as New Windsor town supervisor.

Yevgeni Vladimirovich Gerasimov is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, film director, people's artist of the Russian Federation (1994) and a Moscow City Duma deputy from the United Russia party.

Mōri Takachika was the 13th daimyō of Chōshū Domain. He was later allowed to use a character from the name of shōgun Tokugawa Ieyoshi and changed his name to Yoshichika (慶親). His domain was a traditional enemy of the Tokugawa shogunate, and he became a key player in its downfall during the Bakumatsu period.
