René François Ghislain Magritte was a Belgian surrealist artist. He became well known for creating a number of witty and thought-provoking images. Often depicting ordinary objects in an unusual context, his work is known for challenging observers' preconditioned perceptions of reality. His imagery has influenced pop art, minimalist art and conceptual art.

Felix Jacob Burestedt is a Swedish badminton player. Trained at the Halmstad BMK, Burestedt made his international debut in 2013, and entered the Badminton Europe Centre of Excellence (CoE) in 2017. He won his first international title at the 2018 Lithuanian International in the men's singles event. He competed at the 2019 European Games, but lost in the quarterfinals stage.

Nathaniel Edward Kindersley was an English civil service officer to the British East India Company. He is known for being the first translator of the Tirukkural into English in 1794.
