Donna Vekić
Donna Vekić is a Croatian professional tennis player. She has won two singles titles on the WTA Tour: the 2014 Malaysian Open and the 2017 Nottingham Open. She has also won five singles titles and one doubles title on the ITF Circuit. Her best performance in a Grand Slam singles event was reaching the quarterfinals at the 2019 US Open. On 4 November 2019, she achieved her career-high singles ranking of No. 19.
Davor Šuker
Davor Šuker is a Croatian former professional footballer and the current president of the Croatian Football Federation, a position he has held since July 2012. During his playing career, Šuker featured as a striker. He began his footballing career in his hometown for local first division team NK Osijek as a 16-year-old. During his final season with the club, he became the league's top goal scorer. He made the move to sign for Dinamo Zagreb in 1989. The Croatian War of Independence halted a promising season for the 21-year-old, eventually resulting in Šuker's move to Spanish club Sevilla in 1991.
Goran Ivanišević
Goran Ivanišević is a Croatian former professional tennis player and current tennis coach. He is the only person to win the men's singles title at Wimbledon as a wildcard. He achieved this in 2001, having previously been runner-up at the championships in 1992, 1994 and 1998. Before the 2001 tournament, he was ranked 125th. He then moved part-time to Bathurst, NSW, Australia and after his victory he was 16th. His career-high singles ranking was world No. 2 in 1994. He coached Marin Čilić from September 2013 to July 2016, leading Čilić to his biggest achievement to date, the 2014 US Open title.
