Matti Nykänen
Matti Ensio Nykänen was a Finnish ski jumper who competed from 1981 to 1991. Widely considered to be the greatest male ski jumper of all time, he won five Winter Olympic medals, nine World Championship medals, and 22 Finnish Championship medals. Most notably, he won three gold medals at the 1988 Winter Olympics, becoming, along with Yvonne van Gennip of the Netherlands, the most medaled athlete that winter.
Eero Markkanen
Eero Pekka Sakari Markkanen is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Orange County SC. He is the son of former basketball player Pekka Markkanen and the older brother of Chicago Bulls player Lauri Markkanen.
Otto Wille Kuusinen
Otto Wilhelm (Wille) Kuusinen was a Finnish communist and, later, Soviet politician, literary historian, and poet who, after the defeat of the Reds in the Finnish Civil War, fled to the Soviet Union, where he worked until his death.
Jari Laukkanen
Jari Johannes Laukkanen was a Finnish cross-country skier who competed from 1987 to 1988. He finished eighth in the 4 × 10 km relay at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. He was born in Viitasaari, Central Finland. Laukkanen died on 7 October 2019 from an unknown illness; he was known to suffer from heart issues.

Aulis Blomstedt
Yrjö Aulis Uramo Blomstedt was a Finnish architect and professor of architecture at the Helsinki University of Technology. He was a renowned modernist architect and architectural theoretician in the decades following the Second World War. Blomstedt was born into an architect family: his father Yrjö Blomstedt was an architect known for his National Romantic Jugend architecture, while his older brother Pauli E. Blomstedt was, until his premature death at the age of 35, a pioneering early modernist architect. His other brother, Jussi Jalas, was a composer. Blomstedt was married to Heidi Blomstedt, the daughter of the composer Jean Sibelius. They had two children, the artist Juhana Blomstedt and the architect Severi Blomstedt.

Hertta Elina Kuusinen was a Finnish Communist politician. She was a member of the central committee (1944-1971) and the political bureau of the Communist Party of Finland; member of Finland's parliament, the Eduskunta (1945–1972); general secretary (1952–1958); and leader of the parliamentary group of the Finnish People's Democratic League.
Pauli E. Blomstedt
Pauli Ernesti Blomstedt, more commonly known as P. E. Blomstedt, was a Finnish architect and designer, who worked first in the Nordic Classicism style and then turned to Functionalism. Both his father, Yrjö Blomstedt, and younger brother, Aulis Blomstedt, were also well-known architects.
