Peder Mørk Mønsted was a Danish realist painter. He is best known for his landscape paintings in a realistic style. His favorite motifs include snowy winter landscapes, still water and forests.

Laurids Lauridsen de Thurah, known as Lauritz de Thurah, was a Danish architect and architectural writer. He became the most important Danish architect of the late baroque period. As an architectural writer and historian he made a vital contribution to the understanding of both Denmark's architectural heritage and building construction in his day.

Ove Høegh-Guldberg was a Danish statesman, historian, and de facto prime minister of Denmark during the reign of the mentally unstable King Christian VII.

Sigrid Marie Elisabeth Neiiendam née Andersen (1873–1955) was a Danish actress who played some 200 parts at the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen. She is remembered in particular for her interpretations of Ludvig Holberg's plays.

Knud Kristensen was Prime Minister of Denmark from 7 November 1945 to 13 November 1947 in the first elected government after the German occupation of Denmark during World War II. After the October 1945 election Knud Kristensen formed the Cabinet of Knud Kristensen, a minority government consisting only of his Liberal party (Venstre).

Christen Christensen Raunkiær was a Danish botanist, who was a pioneer of plant ecology. He is mainly remembered for his scheme of plant strategies to survive an unfavourable season and his demonstration that the relative abundance of strategies in floras largely corresponded to the Earth's climatic zones. This scheme, the Raunkiær system, is still widely used today and may be seen as a precursor of modern plant strategy schemes, e.g. J. Philip Grime's CSR system.

Hans Peter Sørensen (1886–1962) was the second Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, holding that office from 1946 to 1956 as a member of the Social Democratic Party.
