Isabella, Princess of Asturias was a queen consort of Portugal and heir presumptive of King Ferdinand II of Aragon and Queen Isabella I of Castile, as their eldest daughter. Her younger siblings were John, Prince of Asturias, Queen Joanna I of Castile, Maria, Queen of Portugal and Catherine, Queen of England.

Juan de Ayolas
Juan de Ayolas was a conquistador born in Briviesca who explored the watershed of the Río de la Plata for the Spanish Crown. He accompanied Pedro de Mendoza on his 1534 expedition to colonize the region between the Río de la Plata and the Strait of Magellan and briefly succeeded him as the second governor of the region after Mendoza returned home in 1537.
Tomás Villanueva
Tomás Villanueva Rodríguez was a Spanish politician. He was born in Valladolid and held several positions in the Junta of Castile and León. He was involved in various corruption scandals, and was set to appear before court in late 2017. However, on 7 September 2017, at the age of 64, Villanueva died suddenly of a heart attack.
Álvaro de Córdoba
Álvaro of Córdoba (c.1350–c.1430) was born at Zamora in Spain and entered the Order of Preachers in 1368. He preached throughout Spain and Italy and also established the priory of Scala Caeli at Córdoba where he promoted the regular life. By his preaching and contemplation of the Lord's Passion he spread the practice of the Way of the Cross throughout the West. He died on 19 February 1430. Pope Benedict XIV beatified him in 1741.
