Philippe Dufour is a Swiss-born watchmaker from Le Sentier, Vallée de Joux. He is regarded as the greatest master of modern watchmaking, and his watches are referenced as among the best ever made. He finishes all of his watches himself by hand. In 1992, Dufour was the first watchmaker to put arguably the most complex of complications in a wristwatch, a Sonnerie. His other two models include Duality and Simplicity.

Julian Aleksandrovich Scriabin was the youngest son of Russian composer Alexander Scriabin and Tatiana de Schloezer. He was himself a promising composer and pianist, but he died at the age of eleven under mysterious circumstances. In the last year of his life he wrote four preludes in his father's style, the authorship of which is questioned by some researchers. Those preludes were published for the first time 95 years after his death by Edition Octoechos. Musicologists have described Julian Scriabin both as a successor of his father and as an early representative of the early Russian and Soviet avant-garde of the 1920s.

Bernard Tschumi is an architect, writer, and educator, commonly associated with deconstructivism. Son of the well-known Swiss architect Jean Tschumi and a French mother, Tschumi is a dual French-Swiss national who works and lives in New York City and Paris. He studied in Paris and at ETH in Zurich, where he received his degree in architecture in 1969.

Carmen bin Laden is a Swiss author. She was a member of the bin Laden family, having entered the family by marriage to Yeslam bin Ladin, a son of the patriarch Muhammad bin Ladin; they have since divorced.
