Joseph Denis Stéphan Bégin ; born June 14, 1978) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre who played in 13 National Hockey League (NHL) seasons. He was a second-round selection of the Calgary Flames, 40th overall, in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft, and played with the Flames, Montreal Canadiens, Dallas Stars, Boston Bruins and Nashville Predators in his NHL career. After missing a full season due to injury, Bégin made a successful comeback by rejoining the Flames in 2012–13 before another injury forced his retirement.

Jennifer Keesmaat is a Canadian urban planner who served as Chief City Planner of Toronto from 2012 to 2017. On August 28, 2017, she announced that she would resign from her position as Chief Planner, effective September 29 of the same year, and subsequently accepted a teaching position at the University of Toronto. In March 2018, Keesmaat became the CEO of the Creative Housing Society, an independent non-profit group dedicated to creation of affordable housing projects. She was named the ninth most influential person in Toronto by Toronto Life in 2014, and the 41st most important person in Canada by Maclean's in 2013.

Black is also the 2018 Commonwealth Games all-around champion, a two time Pan American Games all-around champion champion, and a six-time Canadian national all-around champion. At the 2016 Olympic Games, Black finished 5th in the individual all-around.

He represented Ward 40 Scarborough—Agincourt for the years 2000-2018 and was a City of Scarborough Councillor for the years 1974-1980 and 1988–2000. Kelly served as acting Mayor of Toronto for the period November 18, 2013 to July 1, 2014.

Brian Alexander Gallant, Q.C. is a Canadian politician who served as the 33rd Premier of New Brunswick from October 7, 2014 until November 9, 2018. Of Acadian and Dutch descent, Gallant practised as a lawyer before winning the Liberal leadership in October 2012, securing the riding of Kent in a by-election on April 15, 2013, shortly followed by his swearing in as Leader of the Opposition. After the 2014 election, in which the Progressive Conservative government of David Alward was defeated, Gallant was sworn in as Premier at the age of 32.
