Beatrice Wood
Beatrice Wood was an American artist and studio potter involved in the Avant Garde movement in the United States; she founded and edited The Blind Man and Rongwrong magazines in New York City with French artist Marcel Duchamp and writer Henri-Pierre Roché in 1917. She had earlier studied art and theater in Paris, and was working in New York as an actress. She later worked at sculpture and pottery. Wood was characterized as the "Mama of Dada".

Karl Dorrell
Karl James Dorrell is an American football coach who is the head coach at the University of Colorado. Dorrell most notably served as the head football coach of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 2003 to 2007, compiling a record of 35–27. He led the UCLA Bruins to five bowl appearance in five seasons, but did not coach in the fifth after he was fired in December 2007. Dorrell was the first and only African American head football coach in UCLA's history to date. In 2020, Dorrell was hired as the new head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes. In his first season he was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year.
