Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa
Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa is a member of the Bahraini royal family and a painter. He is the first president and the current honorary president of the Bahrain Arts Society. He has painted over a period of 40 years, painting artistic genres such as Realism developed to Impressionism, which gradually evolved to Individualism, a notable prelude to his recent work, a dual concept of Abstract and the colour field. He is often considered to be one of the kingdom's most famous artists.
Ismail Abdul-Latif
Ismail Abdul-Latif is a Bahraini football striker and currently plays for Muharraq and the Bahrain national football team, and appeared for the team in the 2007, 2011 and 2015 AFC Asian Cup finals. He is famous for scoring a dramatic injury time goal in the match against Saudi Arabia on 9 September 2009 that sent Bahrain into the 2010 World Cup Qualification final play-off round against New Zealand.

As head of the Maktab al-Buhuth wa al-Dirasat, "an independent entity concerned with researching Shari'i issues, and issuing fatwas" he had considerable religious influence within the group.
Meriam Al Khalifa
Meriam bint Abdullah Al-Khalifa is a member of the Bahraini Royal House of Al-Khalifa. She is best known for fleeing her family and native Bahrain to the United States to elope with US Marine Lance Corporal Jason Johnson, who was, at the time, stationed in Bahrain as part of a counter-terrorism unit providing security for expatriate Americans. After she was smuggled into the United States with help from Lance Corporal Johnson and being threatened with deportation by United States Customs, she was permitted to stay and apply for asylum, claiming that she feared honor violence by her family in retaliation for fleeing her country and entertaining a romantic relationship with a non-Muslim. Her story was featured heavily in the American press, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, and was turned into a television movie.
