Mohanad Ali Kadhim Al-Shammari, commonly known in Iraq as Mimi, is an Iraqi professional footballer who plays as a forward for Qatari club Al-Sailiya, on loan from Al-Duhail, and the Iraq national team. He is currently the fifteenth-highest goalscorer for Iraq. He is known for his positioning, shooting, heading, close ball control and dribbling.

Rafik Mohamad Yousef, also known as Rafik Youssef, was an Islamist terrorist who was tried and convicted for plotting to assassinate the Prime Minister of Iraq during his visit to Germany in 2004, served time, and, after being released from prison, was shot and killed when he attacked a German police officer with a knife in Berlin on 17 September 2015.

She was also a news anchor and presenter with Al Arabiya news from 2004 to 2014 and was chosen in 2008 by Fox News as among the 10 most important personalities in Iraq^[1].

Ayad Allawi is an Iraqi politician. He served as Vice President of Iraq from 2014 to 2015 and from 2016 to 2018. Previously he was interim Prime Minister of Iraq from 2004 to 2005 and the President of the Governing Council of Iraq in 2003.

Huda Salih Mahdi Ammash is an Iraqi scientist and academic, sometimes dubbed "Mrs. Anthrax" by Anglo-American media for her unproven association with the alleged Iraqi biological weapons program. Ammash was number 53 on the Pentagon's list of the 55 most wanted, the five of hearts in the deck of Most wanted Iraqi playing cards, and the only woman to be featured. She was captured by coalition forces but later released without being charged.

Abu Musa Muhammad ibn Harun al-Rashid, better known by his regnal name of al-Amin, was the sixth Abbasid Caliph. He succeeded his father, Harun al-Rashid, in 809 and ruled until he was deposed and killed in 813, during the civil war by his half-brother, al-Ma'mun.

Adnan al-Pachachi or Adnan Muzahim Ameen al-Pachachi was a veteran Iraqi and Emirati politician and diplomat who served as Foreign Minister. Pachachi was Iraq's Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 1959 to 1965 and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq from 1965 to 1967, during the Six-Day War with Israel; he again served as Permanent Representative to the UN from 1967 to 1969. After 1971, he spent a long period in exile. Following the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Pachachi was an important figure in Iraqi politics, often described as Iraq's elder statesman. He rejected the role of president in the Iraqi Interim Government.

Ali Abdul-Amir Allawi is an Iraqi politician who serves as Finance Minister since May 2020. He was Minister of Trade and Minister of Defense in the cabinet appointed by the Interim Iraq Governing Council from September 2003 until 2004, and subsequently Minister of Finance in the Iraqi Transitional Government between 2005 and 2006.
