He was a manager of CargoLifter World and ArtemiFlow, producer of Artemisinin. Dirk Pohlmann is the editor-in-chief of Free21, a German Political Blog and journal.

Gunvor Guggisberg from Zimmerwald, known professionally simply as Gunvor, is a Swiss singer and dancer. She is from Bern and owes her name to her Swedish grandfather. She represented Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest 1998 with the song "Lass ihn" but came last, failing to score any points.

The Scorpions are a German heavy metal band formed in 1965 in Hanover by Rudolf Schenker. Since the band's inception, its musical style has ranged from hard rock, heavy metal, and glam metal. The lineup from 1978 to 1992 was the most successful incarnation of the group, and included Klaus Meine (vocals), Rudolf Schenker, Matthias Jabs, Francis Buchholz (bass), and Herman Rarebell (drums). The band's only continuous member has been Schenker, although Meine has appeared on all of Scorpions' studio albums, while Jabs has been a consistent member since 1978, and bassist Paweł Mąciwoda and drummer Mikkey Dee have been in the band since 2003 and 2016 respectively.

Guo Zhengxin is a Chinese former competitive figure skater who competed in men's singles. He finished 8th at the 1998 Winter Olympics and 7th at the World Figure Skating Championships the following year. He was the first skater to land two quadruple toe loops in the free skate.
