Wee Ka Siong
Datuk Seri Ir. Dr. Wee Ka Siong is a Malaysian politician, and engineer who has served as Minister of Transport in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin since March 2020 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayer Hitam since March 2004. He served as Minister in the Prime Minister's Department and the Deputy Minister of Education in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Ministers Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Najib Razak and former Ministers Hishammudin Hussein and Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2008 to the collapse of the BN administration in May 2018. He has also served as President of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA), a component party of the BN coalition, elected during the party election in November 2018. He is the sole Chinese Minister and sole candidate from MCA to be elected in the 2018 general election.
