Juan Fernando López Aguilar is a Spanish politician and jurist, member of the European Parliament since 2009. A member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party, he served as Minister of Justice in the government of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero. He also represented Las Palmas in the Congress of Deputies between 1996 and 2007 and between 2008 and 2009.

Robert Schneider is an Austrian writer, who published novels including Schlafes Bruder, texts for the theatre, and poetry. His works have been translated to many languages. Schlafes Bruder became the basis of a film, a ballet, an opera and several plays, and received international awards. Schneider withdrew from writing in 2007.

Frank, Viscount De Winne is a Belgian Air Component officer and an ESA astronaut. He is Belgium's second person in space. He was the first ESA astronaut to command a space mission when he served as commander of ISS Expedition 21. ESA astronaut de Winne serves currently as Head of the European Astronaut Centre of the European Space Agency in Cologne/Germany (Köln).

Christiane Lambert is a French farmer and agricultural trade unionist who has headed the Fédération Nationale des Syndicats d’Exploitants Agricoles since 2017. In 2020, she became the president of the Comité des Organisations Professionnelles Agricoles - Comité Général de la Coopération Agricole de l'Union Européenne.

Serge Joncour is a French novelist and screenwriter. He was born in Paris and studied philosophy at university. His debut novel UV was published in 1998. Notable books include:

Richard Charles Horton is editor-in-chief of The Lancet, a United Kingdom–based medical journal. He is an honorary professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University College London, and the University of Oslo.
