List of Famous people who born in 1920

Aleksander Kobzdej (1920–1972) was a Polish painter. He was born in, what was then, Ukraine. Kobzdej is best known for being one of the most prominent representatives of the Polish Social Realist group, and for being the creator of unique Polish versions of "matter" painting.

Yang Baibing was a senior general and political commissar in the Chinese People's Liberation Army and the younger half-brother of Yang Shangkun. Together, the two brothers effectively controlled the PLA from the early 1980s until the early 1990s.

Désiré "Dis" Keteleer was a Belgian professional road bicycle racer. Keteleer was born in Anderlecht and was professional from 1942 until 1961, winning the inaugural Tour of Romandie in 1947 and La Flèche Wallonne in 1946. He rode in the 1949 Tour de France, winning stage 15. Keteleer died in Rebecq-Rognon.

Carlos Quintero Arce was a Mexican prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. At his death, he was the oldest Mexican bishop.

Josip "Joža" Manolić is a Yugoslav and Croatian communist revolutionary. He served as the high-ranking official of the State Security Administration, and later as Prime Minister of Croatia from 24 August 1990 to 17 July 1991. Croatia formally declared independence during his term, on 25 June 1991. Following his brief term as Prime Minister, he served as the first Speaker of the Chamber of Counties, the upper house of the Croatian Parliament, from 1993 until 1994.
