Julie Gibson was an American singer; radio, television, and film actress; and vocal artist and coach, who had a career in movies during the 1940s. Gibson, who retired from the industry in 1984, was known for her work opposite The Three Stooges.

Attila Szekrényessy was a Hungarian pair skater who competed with his sister Piroska Szekrényessy. He was born in Budapest, Hungary and died in Gyöngyös. He and his sister were six-time gold medalists at the Hungarian Figure Skating Championships. The pair finished fourth at the 1936 Winter Olympics and won the bronze medal at the European Figure Skating Championships in 1936 and 1937.

William Donald Borders was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He was the 13th Archbishop of Baltimore from 1974 to 1989, having previously served as the first Bishop of Orlando from 1968 to 1974.

Hans Caninenberg (1913–2008) was a German actor. He was married to the actress Lola Müthel.

Melvin Frank was an American screenwriter, film producer and film director. He is known for his partnership with Norman Panama and their work on films such as Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House (1948), White Christmas (1954), and The Court Jester (1956). He also directed films such as Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell and A Touch of Class (1973).

Leslie Harry Ernest Bury CMG was an Australian politician and economist. He was a member of the Liberal Party and served in the House of Representatives between 1956 and 1974, representing the Division of Wentworth. He held ministerial office in Coalition governments for nearly a decade, serving as Minister for Air (1961–1962), Housing (1963–1966), Labour and National Service (1966–1969), Treasurer (1969–1971) and Foreign Affairs (1971).
