Joan Bridge was a British costume designer from Ripley in Derbyshire. She won at the 39th Academy Awards in the category of Best Costume design-Color for her work on A Man for All Seasons, which she shared with Elizabeth Haffenden. In addition she won the BAFTA as well. She worked on over 100 films during her long career.

Joseph Anthony was an American playwright, actor, and director. He made his film acting debut in the 1934 film Hat, Coat, and Glove and his theatrical acting debut in a 1935 production of Mary of Scotland. On five occasions he was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Direction.

Meyer Howard "Mike" Abrams, usually cited as M. H. Abrams, was an American literary critic, known for works on romanticism, in particular his book The Mirror and the Lamp. Under Abrams's editorship, The Norton Anthology of English Literature became the standard text for undergraduate survey courses across the U.S. and a major trendsetter in literary canon formation.

George Rice Chitwood, nicknamed "Joie", was an American racecar driver and businessman. He is best known as a daredevil in the Joie Chitwood Thrill Show.
