He previously played in MLB for the Chicago White Sox, with whom he made his major league debut on August 6, 2010. As a power pitcher, Sale excels at achieving high numbers of strikeouts, and has set a number of strikeout-related records. He bats and throws left-handed, stands 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 m), and weighs 180 pounds (82 kg).

José Luis Urquidy is a Mexican professional baseball pitcher for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB). Urquidy signed with the Astros as an international free agent in 2015 under the name of Jose Luis Hernandez, and was known as such until before the start of the 2019 season. He made his major league debut in July 2019.

Trea Vance Turner is an American professional baseball shortstop for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played college baseball at North Carolina State. The San Diego Padres selected Turner in the first round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft, and traded him to the Nationals in 2015. Turner made his MLB debut with the Nationals on August 21, 2015.

Steven Jakob Matz is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the New York Mets. Matz was born and raised on Long Island and played baseball for Ward Melville High School in East Setauket, New York. The Mets drafted him directly out of high school in the second round of the 2009 MLB draft, with the 72nd overall selection.

Very highly recruited from an early age, he was raised in Miami, where he attended Brito High School and was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles with the third overall pick in the 2010 MLB draft. He bats and throws right-handed.

Zobrist played in three World Series, winning the last two becoming a two-time World Series champion in consecutive seasons of 2015 with the Royals and 2016 with the Cubs.
