Tyler David Thomas Ritter is an American actor, best known as the star of The McCarthys.

Charles Freer Andrews was a priest of the Church of England and an activist for Indian independence. A Protestant Christian missionary, educator and social reformer in India, he became a close friend of Rabindranath Tagore and Mahatma Gandhi and identified with the Indian liberation struggle. He was instrumental in convincing Gandhi to return to India from South Africa, where Gandhi had been a leading light in the Indian civil rights struggle.

One of the most prolific English film directors of his generation, he is known for directing the Up series (1964–2019), the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough (1999), and the American film Coal Miner's Daughter (1980), which was nominated for seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture. He also directed Nell (1994), which received three Golden Globe Award nominations and one Academy Award nomination, and the critically-acclaimed films Gorillas in the Mist (1988) and Enigma (2001).
