Heidi Biebl is a retired German alpine skier. She won gold medal in the downhill at the 1960 Winter Olympics, just three days after her 19th birthday, becoming the games' youngest gold medal winner. She also competed at the 1964 Winter Olympics, finishing fourth in both the downhill and slalom events.

Sven-Åke Lundbäck is a former Swedish cross-country skier. He competed at the 1972, 1976 and 1980 Olympics in the 15 km, 30 km and 4 × 10 km events and won a gold medal over 15 km in 1972. He was close to a bronze medal in the 4 × 10 km relay in 1972, but fell near the finish; he had another fourth place in the relay in 1980.

Jean Pierre François Camille Montagne was a French military physician and botanist who specialized in the fields of bryology and mycology. He was born in the commune of Vaudoy in the department of Seine-et-Marne.

Christian Ferdinand Friedrich Hochstetter was a German botanist and Protestant minister.
