Alan David Sokal is a professor of mathematics at University College London and professor of physics at New York University. He works in statistical mechanics and combinatorics. He is a critic of postmodernism, and caused the Sokal affair in 1996 when his deliberately nonsensical paper was published by Duke University Press's Social Text. He also works to counter faulty scientific reasoning, as seen with his involvement in criticising the critical positivity ratio concept in positive psychology.

Princess Natalia Alexandrovna Romanovskaya-Iskander, or simply Princess Iskander, was the last of two members of the male line of the House of Romanov to remain alive in the Soviet Union following the Revolution and its aftermath. The princess was a professional vertical motorcyclist and secret agent of the Lubyanka.

Zinaida Greceanîi is a Moldovan politician. She is currently Speaker of the Parliament of Moldova since 8 June 2019. Greceanîi was previously also the Prime Minister of Moldova from 31 March 2008 to 14 September 2009. She is the leader of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM) and was previously a member of the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova (PCRM). She was Moldova's first female Prime Minister and was the second female Communist head of government in Europe, the first having been Premier Milka Planinc of Yugoslavia. She has been referred to by her collogues in PSRM as the "Moldovan Margaret Thatcher".

James Edward "Trey" Hardee III is a retired American track and field athlete who specialized in the combined events. He is a former NCAA Champion, a two-time World Outdoor Champion, a member of the United States 2008 Olympic team, and the silver medalist in the decathlon at the London 2012 Olympics. He was Inducted into the Texas Track and Field Hall of Fame in 2018.

Natasha Farinea is a Brazilian volleyball player. She won a silver medal at the 2013 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship with Unilever Vôlei.
