James Ray Hines is a retired American track and field athlete and NFL player, who held the 100 m world record for 15 years. In 1968, he became the first man to officially break the 10-second barrier in the 100 meters, and won individual and relay gold at the Mexico City Olympics.

Harold Willard Bradley Jr. was an American professional football player and an Italian actor, singer, and visual artist. He played college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes and played four seasons in the National Football League (NFL) from 1954–1958. He later starred in over 25 Italian films as an actor and opened an art and music studio in Rome.

Frederick Robert Williamson, also known as The Hammer, is an American actor and former professional American football defensive back who played mainly in the American Football League during the 1960s. Williamson is perhaps best known for his film career, starring as Tommy Gibbs in the 1973 crime drama film Black Caesar and its sequel Hell Up in Harlem. Williamson also had other notable roles in other 1970s blaxploitation films such as Hammer (1972), That Man Bolt (1973) and Three the Hard Way (1974).

John Houston Stockton was a professional football player, a back in the late 1920s in the National Football League. He played with the Frankford Yellow Jackets from 1925 until 1928, and was a member of Yellow Jackets' 1926 NFL Championship team. During his final season in 1929, Stockton split time between the Boston Bulldogs and the Providence Steamroller. He was the grandfather of basketball Hall of Fame inductee, John Stockton, who played point guard for the National Basketball Association's Utah Jazz from 1984 to 2003.

Bruce Bernard Smith is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end for the Buffalo Bills and the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He was a member of the Buffalo Bills teams that played in four consecutive Super Bowls as AFC champions. The holder of the NFL career record for quarterback sacks with 200, Smith was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009, his first year of eligibility. Smith was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

Daniel Carl Wuerffel is a former college and professional American football quarterback. Wuerffel attended the University of Florida, where he was a prolific passer for the Florida Gators under head coach Steve Spurrier. Wuerffel led the NCAA in touchdown passes in 1995 and 1996 and set numerous school and conference records during his career. During his senior year in 1996, Wuerffel won the Heisman Trophy while leading the Gators to their first national championship. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2013.

James Earl Johnson is an American former professional football player and Olympic track athlete.

Keith Van Horne is a former American college and professional football player who was an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons during the 1980s and 1990s. He played college football for the University of Southern California and earned All-American honors. Van Horne was selected in the first round of the 1981 NFL Draft, and played professionally for the NFL's Chicago Bears.
