Yolanda Toussieng is a two-time Oscar-winning makeup artist. Her first win came at the 1993 Academy Awards for Best Makeup for the film Mrs. Doubtfire, which she shared with Greg Cannom and Ve Neill. The second win was at 1994's 67th Academy Awards for the film Ed Wood, a win she shared with Rick Baker and Ve Neill. She received two more nominations, first during the 2003 Oscars for the film Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, and her fourth nomination was at the 83rd Academy Awards for the film The Way Back. She also won a Daytime Emmy for Pee-wee's Playhouse in 1988. She has done over 60 films since 1982.

Lisa Kathleen Phillips Honan was the Governor of Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha from 26 April 2016 until 11 May 2019, when she was replaced by Philip Rushbrook. She is the first, and currently only, female to have held the post. Honan was previously Head of Office in Kenya for the Department for International Development, and currently holds the same position in Nepal.

Eddie Tagoe is a Ghanaian actor best known in the UK for playing "Presuming Ed" in the 1987 film production of Withnail and I, a role that he resumed in 2000 in a stage production of the same work. Internationally, he may be better recognized for his brief appearance in the 1981 hit movie Raiders of the Lost Ark. Billed only as the "Messenger Pirate", his character was sent to find Indiana Jones in advance of Nazis boarding the ship on which Jones was travelling. Initially unable to find Jones, he was instructed by the captain to look again, and immediately replied, "I found him!", pointing to Jones swimming to the Nazi submarine.
