He was born in Los Angeles, California, to an architect, Melford Morgan and Betty Morgan, a classically trained pianist. It was while living with his parents that he became interested in music, and started to learn to play the piano.

Miles Dale (born 1961) is a Canadian producer and director of film and television, best known for producing the critically acclaimed film, The Shape of Water, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Picture at the 90th Academy Awards. He is a regular collaborator of director Guillermo del Toro.

Mark William Latham is an Australian politician. He has been the state leader of One Nation in New South Wales since November 2018, and won election to the Legislative Council at the 2019 state election.
