He ran again in 2018, coming second to Mario Abdo Benítez with 45% of the vote.

Jewel Cianeh Taylor is a Liberian politician and the current Vice President of Liberia. She was married to convicted war criminal and former president Charles Taylor and was First Lady of Liberia during his presidency. In 2005, Jewel Taylor was elected to the Senate of Liberia in Bong County as a member of the National Patriotic Party. She served as the Chairperson of the Senate Health and Social Welfare Committee on Gender, Women and Children.

João Eduardo Pinto de Loureiro was the president of the board (chairman) of the Portuguese football club Boavista FC, from the 2nd January 2013 until the 28th December 2018. Now he is the President of the General Council of the club. He had previously held the office between 1997 and 2007, when he was the most successful president of the board of Boavista's history: he was the youngest football president to be champion ever in Portugal, the year in which he was considered the best chairman of Portugal by the newspaper Record. He also won the Honour Panther prize and the Gold Panther prize. During his mandates as President (Chairman) of Boavista FC, the club won all the Portuguese competitions of professional football at the time, as well as all the national competitions u-19, and was twice Vice-Champion of Portugal. Internationally, the club participated three times in the UEFA Champions League and went to the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup. Also, it was during his mandate that the modern and sophisticated stadium Estádio do Bessa Século XXI was built; it has 30,000 seats and was the location of several matches for the 2004 UEFA European Championship.

Rogério Simonetti Marinho is a Brazilian economist and politician, member of the Brazilian Social Democracy Party (PSDB). He was a Federal Deputy until 1 February 2019, representing the state of Rio Grande do Norte, and is Honour President of the PSDB in his state. Marinho was State Secretary of Economic Development of Rio Grande do Norte during the government of Rosalba Ciarlini. Currently, he is Minister of Regional Development, nominated by president Jair Bolsonaro.
