Troy James Smith is an American former gridiron football quarterback. He played college football at Ohio State, was recognized as an All-American, and won the Heisman Trophy in 2006. Despite winning the Heisman Trophy, Smith never found success on the professional level, never appearing in more than six games a season during his four-year NFL career. He played in the CFL for two seasons following his NFL career before retiring from football in 2014.
