Shim Eun-ha is a retired South Korean actress. Shim rose to popularity in the 1990s, starring in some of the highest-rated Korean dramas of all time, such as The Last Match, M and Trap of Youth. But she is best known for her acclaimed performance in Hur Jin-ho's melodrama Christmas in August, for which she swept the Best Actress awards in 1998. This was followed by another well-received turn in romantic comedy Art Museum by the Zoo. Shim suddenly retired from show business at the height of her fame in 2001, and her mystique solidified her status as the most beloved South Korean actress of that decade.

General Jörg Vollmer is a German Army general and since 22nd April 2020 Commander of the NATO Allied Joint Forces Command Brunssum. He was the Inspector of the Army from 2015 to 2020.

Leanid Arturavich Zeydel-Volski, better known as Lavon Volski, is a Belarusian musician, writer, painter, and founder of the Belarusian rock groups Mroja, N.R.M., Zet, and Krambambula.

Felix Bohnke is a German musician and the drummer of heavy metal band Edguy. He joined the band just before they recorded the album Theater of Salvation in 1998. Before joining Edguy he was a member of German band Saints & Preachers. In 2001, he was a guest drummer and later in 2003, a member of the band Taraxacum along with Edguy bassist Tobias Exxel.

Edith Hanson is an American television personality and essayist, living in Tanabe, Wakayama, Japan. She is the younger sister of World War II flying ace Robert M. Hanson and biologist and Marine Earl Dorchester Hanson.

Alfred Frenzel (1899–1968) was a West German member of parliament, who was secretly conducting espionage for Czechoslovakia while serving on the Bundestag's Defense Committee. Given the code name Anna by the StB, he passed along classified information to the Communist government in Prague for five years, until his arrest in Bonn on October 31, 1960. He was the most important StB spy during the entire Cold War.

Günter Meyer is a German Geographer and Orientalist. He is chairman of the World Congress for Middle Eastern Studies (WOCMES) and director of the Center for Research on the Arab World (CERAW) at the University of Mainz. Meyer focuses mainly on the Political Geography of the Arab World, and the economic as well as urban development in the Middle East, especially in Egypt, Syria, Yemen and the UAE, but also in Germany. He became known to a wider German-speaking audience through more than 1100 interviews on the Iraq War, the Syrian Civil War and on the Libyan Civil War 2011 and 2014.

Kalvin Ho Kai-ming is a Hong Kong politician. He is the current vice chairman of the Hong Kong Association for Democracy and People's Livelihood (ADPL) and member of the Sham Shui Po District Council for Nam Cheong East since 2016.

Alexandre Bilodeau is a retired Canadian freestyle skier from Rosemere, Quebec, Bilodeau currently resides in Montreal, Quebec. Bilodeau won a gold medal in the men's moguls at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, becoming the first Canadian to win a gold medal at an Olympic Games held in Canada. At the 2014 Winter Olympics, he became the first Olympian in history to defend his gold medal in any freestyle skiing event as well as the first Canadian to defend an individual title since Catriona Le May Doan at the 2002 Winter Olympics. Bilodeau is a three-time FIS World Champion in dual moguls, and is also a two-time Worlds silver medallist in moguls. He was the FIS World Cup champion for the 2008–09 season winning the moguls and overall freestyle skiing title that season. In his final World Cup race, he retired with a win, and in doing so, surpassed Jean-Luc Brassard for the most World Cup medals by a Canadian.
