Mika Sugimoto is a female Japanese judo wrestler. She won a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics, as well as the gold medal in the heavyweight (+78 kg) division and in the openweight division at the 2010 World Judo Championships.

Mirko Englich is a German Greco-Roman wrestler. He won two silver medals at the European Wrestling Championships in 2003 and 2008. Englich won a silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. He defeated U.S.A's Adam Wheeler in the semi-finals to face Russia's Aslanbek Khushtov.

Manabu Sakai is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet. A native of Fuchū, Tokyo and graduate of the University of Tokyo, he was elected for the first time in 2005. As of 2021, he is the Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary.

He was convicted three times for hate speech, advocating a dismemberment of Russian Federation and genocide against Russian people. The convictions have been questioned by human rights organizations ARTICLE 19, Committee to Protect Journalists, and Union of Councils for Soviet Jews.

Nicolas "Nyco" Lilliu is a French singer of mixed French-Italian origin. His father is from Terralba, Sardinia and his mother from Brittany. He is the younger brother of French rock singer Pierrick Lilliu.

Judge Suliman Ibrahim al-Reshoudi is a Saudi Arabian human rights lawyer and pro-democracy activist. He was imprisoned in the 1990s, and again from 2007 until his release on humanitarian grounds on 23 June 2011 at the age of 74–75. In November 2011 he was convicted of "breaking allegiance with the King" and possessing literature by Madawi al-Rasheed and sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment followed by a 15-year travel ban. As of January 2012, his conviction was pending appeal at the Specialized Criminal Court.
