Yoko Komiyama is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet. A native of Shibuya, Tokyo and graduate of Seijo University, she worked at the public broadcaster NHK from 1972 to 1998. She was elected to the House of Councilors for the first time in 1998 and then to the House of Representatives for the first time in April 2003. In September 2011 she was appointed Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare in the cabinet of newly appointed prime minister Yoshihiko Noda.

Katsuaki Susa is a Japanese boxer who competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the flyweight division. He is an alumnus of the Toyo University, and is Second lieutenant in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.

Yukiko Kashihara is a Japanese retired competitive figure skater. She is the 1988 World Junior bronze medalist and the 1988 Japanese national bronze medalist.

Yeltsin Francisco Ortega Jacques is a visually impaired Brazilian Paralympic runner named after the former Russian president Boris Yeltsin. He won the 1500 m and 5000 m events at the 2015 Parapan American Games, placing 5th–11th at the 2016 Summer Paralympics. He also medaled in the 800 m and 1500 m events at the 2013 World Championships.

El Hossein El Ouardi is a Moroccan politician of the Party of Progress and Socialism. From 3 January 2012 to 24 October 2017, he held the position of Minister of Health in Abdelilah Benkirane's government.
