Tscheu La Ling is a Dutch former professional footballer of mixed Dutch and Chinese descent, who played for clubs in the Netherlands, Greece and France. His name has been spelled in various ways throughout his career, but usually as Tscheu La Ling; he was generally uninterested in how it was spelled but revealed in a February 2007 interview that his name was officially Ling Tshen La. This name uses Chinese naming customs. The family name is Ling. In June 2015 he was appointed to the advisory board of Ajax Amsterdam. He is also the owner of the Slovak football club AS Trencin.

Massimo Oddo is an Italian professional football manager and a former player who played as a full-back.

Michael Francis Welch, nicknamed "Smiling Mickey", was a Major League Baseball pitcher. He stood 5 feet 8 inches (1.73 m) tall and weighed 160 pounds (73 kg). He was the third pitcher to accumulate 300 career victories. Welch was born in Brooklyn, New York, and played 13 seasons in the major leagues, three with the Troy Trojans, and 10 with the New York Gothams/Giants. He was very successful with an effective curveball, a change of pace, and a version of the screwball. During his 13 major league seasons, he posted 20 or more wins nine times, seven in succession.

Billy Graham was an American boxer from New York City who had an impressive professional record of 102 wins and 15 losses. Though a leading lightweight contender, Graham was never the recipient of a world title. Graham did however, have the remarkable distinction of never having been knocked off his feet in his long career. He was elected into the World Boxing Hall of Fame in 1987, and is also in the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

Paulo Silas do Prado Pereira, simply known as Paulo Silas, is a Brazilian retired footballer, who played as a central midfielder, and is a manager.

Cordel Leonard "Corey" Koskie is a Canadian former professional baseball third baseman, who played in Major League Baseball for the Minnesota Twins, Toronto Blue Jays, and Milwaukee Brewers. On February 4, 2015, Koskie was elected to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.

József Vágó was a Hungarian football defender who played for Hungary in the 1934 FIFA World Cup. He also played for Debreceni VSC.

Per "Pelle" Olsson is a Swedish football manager in charge of Sandvikens IF. He started out playing for his hometown club Skutskärs IF. During his injury-filled playing career he also represented Gefle IF, Malmö FF, Halmstads BK and the Sweden national under-21 football team. In his managerial career he is influenced by the managers who he previously played for like Roy Hodgson, Stuart Baxter and Benny Lennartsson. Before the start of the 2012 Allsvenskan season he was named the best manager in the league by newspaper Aftonbladet due to his ability to build a low-budget team that is greater than its individual parts.
