Petr Svoboda is a Czech former professional ice hockey defenceman who played 17 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Montreal Canadiens, Buffalo Sabres, Philadelphia Flyers and Tampa Bay Lightning. He was the first Czech to play over 1,000 games in the NHL.

He was a member of the Dutch team at the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy under manager Leo Beenhakker. He made his debut for the Netherlands on 6 September 1989, in a friendly against Denmark (2-2).

Mirjalol Kushakovich Qosimov is a former head coach of the Uzbekistan national football team. He also played for the national team as a playmaker. Qosimov is currently the manager of AGMK.

Michael Lee Moorer is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1988 to 2008. He is a multiple-time world champion in two weight classes, having held the WBO light heavyweight title from 1988 to 1991; the WBO heavyweight title from 1992 to 1993; the unified WBA, IBF and lineal heavyweight titles in 1994; and the IBF heavyweight title again from 1996 to 1997. He became the world's first southpaw heavyweight champion after defeating Evander Holyfield.
