He is an alumnus of Georgia Southern University, where he set numerous school, conference, and NCAA Division I-AA records, as well winning two 1-AA National Championships and receiving the Walter Payton Award for most outstanding player in 1-AA football.

Jeanne Colette Evert Dubin was an American professional tennis player and the younger sister of Chris Evert. She was ranked as high as 28th by the WTA in 1978 and ninth within the United States in 1974. She reached the third round of the U.S. Open in 1973 and 1978. She won all four of her Fed Cup matches for the U.S. in 1974.

Simon Melkianus Tahamata is a Dutch football coach and former professional player who played for Dutch and Belgian clubs. He also played 22 times for the Dutch national team, scoring twice. Tahamata was born in the Netherlands, but took Belgian nationality in 1990.
