Robinson Chirinos
Robinson David Chirinos González is a Venezuelan professional baseball catcher who is a free agent. He signed with the Chicago Cubs as a nondrafted free agent out of Venezuela in 2000. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut with the Tampa Bay Rays in 2011, and has also played for the Houston Astros, Texas Rangers and New York Mets.

Shabazz Napier
Shabazz Bozie Napier is an American professional basketball player. He was drafted 24th overall by the Charlotte Hornets in the 2014 NBA draft and immediately traded to the Miami Heat. He played college basketball for the Connecticut Huskies, and won two national championships in 2011 and 2014. Napier was a key player for the Huskies' 2010–11 NCAA championship team, as he made the Big East All Rookie team. Following his junior season, Napier was selected to the All-Big East first team.

Hunter Mark Henry is an American football tight end for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Arkansas, where he was a consensus All-American and won the John Mackey Award as the top tight end in the nation. He was selected by the then San Diego Chargers in the second round of the 2016 NFL draft with the 35th overall pick.
Anghel Iordănescu
Anghel Iordănescu, also known as "Tata Puiu", is a Romanian former footballer and former manager of the Romania national team, who played as a forward. In 2007, Iordănescu retired from football, and the following February, after his predecessor resigned, he became a member of the Romanian Senate, sitting on the Social Democratic Party benches. On 26 December 2011, he became an independent senator, affiliated to the National Union for the Progress of Romania. His son, Edward Iordănescu, is also a former footballer and current manager.

He began his professional career in 1999 at the age of 17 with Torpedo Moscow, having graduated from their famed academy. He was a Russia national football team regular, earning his 100th cap on 6 September 2016 in a friendly against Ghana. He played as a fullback or centre-back and sometimes was also deployed as wingback or midfielder.
