Avery Antonio Bradley Jr. is an American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Texas Longhorns before being drafted 19th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2010 NBA draft. With the Celtics, he was twice recognized as an NBA All-Defensive Team member. Bradley has also played for the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Lakers.

Gareth Barry is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He made 653 Premier League appearances for Aston Villa, Manchester City, Everton and West Bromwich Albion, the highest number of appearances in the Premier League. He also represented England at international level.

Manuel Luis Pellegrini Ripamonti is a Chilean professional football manager and former player who is the manager of Real Betis. As a coach, he has managed teams in Spain, England, Argentina, Chile, China and Ecuador. Pellegrini has won national leagues in four countries.

Nathan Benjamin Aké is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Manchester City and the Netherlands national team. Although he predominantly plays as a centre back, he has also been deployed as a left back.

Philipp Lahm is a German retired professional footballer who played as a right back or defensive midfielder and spent much of his early career playing left back. He was the captain of Bayern Munich, having led them to numerous honours including the 2013 UEFA Champions League as part of the Treble. He is also a former captain of his national team, which he led to win the 2014 FIFA World Cup, before retiring from international football.

Justin Charles Edinburgh was an English professional football manager and player who played as a left back. He made 213 Premier League appearances for Tottenham Hotspur, and managed a number of League One, League Two, and non-league clubs. He was the manager of Leyton Orient at the time of his death in June 2019.

Steven Nkemboanza Mike Christopher Nzonzi is a French professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for French club Rennes, on loan from Italian club Roma, and the France national team.

Victor Michael Cruz is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at UMass, and signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2010. With the Giants he won Super Bowl XLVI over the New England Patriots, and made the 2012 Pro Bowl.

Carsen Cade Edwards is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Purdue Boilermakers, where he was twice named an All-American.
