Edward "Ed" Ferdinand Jacob Lindberg was an American Olympic athlete, winner of the gold medal in 4 × 400 m relay at the 1912 Summer Olympics. He was born in Cherokee, Iowa to a Swedish family and died in Highland Park, Illinois.

Erskine Sanford was an American actor on the stage, radio and motion pictures. Long associated with the Theatre Guild, he later joined Orson Welles's Mercury Theatre company and appeared in several of Welles's films, including Citizen Kane (1941), in which he played Herbert Carter, the bumbling, perspiring newspaper editor.

Abraham Bedford Venable was a representative and senator from Virginia. He was the uncle of US Representative Abraham Watkins Venable.

Federico Lacroze was an Argentine businessman and railway entrepreneur of French descent. He created the first tram line in Buenos Aires and his Buenos Aires Central Railway helped link the provinces of Entre Ríos, Corrientes and Misiones by rail to Argentina's capital. Lacroze is buried in La Recoleta Cemetery, Buenos Aires.
