Wakin Chau, better known by his stage name Emil Chau during the 1980s and 1990s, is a Hong Kong-born Taiwanese singer, songwriter and actor, popular throughout Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China, and parts of Southeast Asia. As of August 2007, he has released more than 40 albums.

Mostefa Bouchachi, born in 1954 in Sidi Abdelaziz, in the current Jijel Province Algeria, is an Algerian lawyer and politician.

Patrick Kwame Ampadu is an Irish former footballer who played as a midfielder. Ampadu featured for clubs Arsenal, Swansea City, Leyton Orient and Exeter City in his playing career. He is currently an assistant coach for CF Montreal under Thierry Henry. He previously was an assistant coach for Monaco. Ampadu also played for the Republic of Ireland's U21 team.

Rika Matsumoto is a Japanese actress, voice actress and singer who was born in Yokohama, Japan. Her name is also sometimes romanized as Rica Matsumoto. She was one of the founders of the Anison band JAM Project.

José María Sanz Beltrán, Loquillo or Loco is a Spanish rock singer. He was born in Barcelona. Beginning in the 1980s, he performed as Teddy Loquillo, and then with the groups Loquillo y los Intocables, and later Loquillo y Los Trogloditas. He started out as a rockabilly artist, and then became more famous mixing pop, punk and rock. He played as a solo act as well as performing with the Trogloditas, but they broke up in 2008. Nowadays, he's a widely recognised solo artist in Spain. He also writes blogs on elmundo.es.

Iman Ali, is a Pakistani actress, veteran model and singer who appears in Urdu films. Ali made her film debut with a leading role in the 2007 thriller film Khuda Kay Liye, for which she won a Lux Style Award for Best Actress. She has also starred as main female lead in 2016 film Mah e Mir and had a supporting role in the 2011 social drama Bol.

Fern Sutherland is a New Zealand actress, best known for her roles as Dawn in The Almighty Johnsons, and Detective Sims in The Brokenwood Mysteries.

Hilda Taba was an architect, a curriculum theorist, a curriculum reformer, and a teacher educator. Taba was born in the small village of Kooraste, Estonia. Her mother's name was Liisa Leht, and her father was a schoolmaster whose name was Robert Taba. Hilda Taba began her education at the Kanepi Parish School. She then attended the Võru’s Girls’ Grammar School and earned her undergraduate degree in English and Philosophy at Tartu University. When Taba was given the opportunity to attend Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania, she earned her master's degree. Following the completion of her degree at Bryn Mawr College, she attended Teachers College at Columbia University. She applied for a job at Tartu University but was turned down because she was female, so she became curriculum director at the Dalton School in New York City. In 1951, Taba accepted an invitation to become a professor at San Francisco State College, now known as San Francisco State University.
