Sumner Byron Myers was an American mathematician specializing in topology. He studied at Harvard University under H. C. Marston Morse, where he was graduated with a Ph.D. in 1932. Myers then pursued postdoctoral studies at Princeton University (1934–1936) before becoming a professor for mathematics at the University of Michigan, where an award for outstanding students of mathematics has been named in his honor. He died unexpectedly from a heart attack during the 1955 Michigan–Army football game at Michigan Stadium.

Giuseppe Martinelli is a retired road bicycle racer from Italy, who was a professional rider from 1977 to 1985. He represented his native country at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where he won silver medal in the men's individual road race behind Sweden's Bernt Johansson. In 2011, Martinelli became the manager of the Astana cycling team, replacing Yvon Sanquer.

Anja Weisgerber is a German lawyer and politician. She currently is a member of the German Bundestag representing Schweinfurt for the Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CSU), part of the European People's Party (EPP). She previously served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for Bavaria. In addition to her political work, she serves as of counsel at the Frankfurt office of German law firm GSK Stockmann & Kollegen.
