List of Famous people named William

William V was a prince of Orange and the last stadtholder of the Dutch Republic. He went into exile to London in 1795. He was furthermore ruler of the Principality of Orange-Nassau until his death in 1806. In that capacity he was succeeded by his son William.

William Ros, 6th Baron Ros was a medieval English nobleman, politician and soldier. The second son of Thomas Ros, 4th Baron Ros and Beatrice Stafford, William inherited his father's barony and estates in 1394. He married Margaret, daughter of Baron Fitzalan, shortly afterwards. The Fitzalan family, like that of Ros, was well-connected at the local and national level. They were implacably opposed to King Richard II, and this may have soured Richard's opinion of the young Ros.

William Vitved Kvist is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder for Danish club Copenhagen as well as for the Denmark national team.

William George Hylton Jolliffe, 1st Baron Hylton, known as Sir William Jolliffe, Bt, between 1821 and 1866, was a British soldier and Conservative politician. He was a member of the Earl of Derby's first two administrations as Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department in 1852 and as Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury between 1858 and 1859.

William Silva Gomes Barbio, also known as William Barbio, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for Seoul E-Land FC, as a forward. Mainly used as a right winger, he can also play as an attacking midfielder or a centre-forward.
