Vasyl Lomachenko
Vasyl Anatoliyovych Lomachenko, more commonly referred to as Vasiliy Lomachenko, is a Ukrainian professional boxer. He is a former world champion in three weight classes, having held the WBO featherweight title from 2014 to 2015; the WBO junior lightweight title from 2016 to 2017; and the unified WBA (Super), WBC, WBO and Ring magazine lightweight titles between 2018 and 2020.
Vasyl Hrytsak
Vasyl Serhiyovych Hrytsak was the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). He became the SBU's acting head on 18 June 2015, replacing Valentyn Nalyvaichenko. The Verkhovna Rada approved his appointment on 2 July. On 22 May 2019 President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Ivan Bakanov the first deputy chairman of the SBU. Following this Hrytsak went on vacation, and Bakanov began to perform his duties. Hrytsak never returned to his post in the SBU and Bakanov was officially appointed his successor on 29 August 2019.

Vasyl Ivanovich Zubanych is a colonel in the Ukrainian Ground Forces and a Hero of Ukraine. Zubanych was awarded the title Hero of Ukraine for his leadership of 15th Separate Mountain Battalion of the 128th Mountain Brigade in the fighting for Luhansk International Airport and the Battle of Debaltseve. In late 2015, he became the commander of the 10th Mountain Brigade.

The Committee of the Shevchenko National Prize declared him a Shevchenko Prize Laureate in 2011.
