She is a daughter of the late American businessman and philanthropist Victor Posner and his second wife Sari Posner. In 1983, she was appointed as a vice president, assistant treasurer and assistant secretary to several corporations to include Wilson Brothers, NVF company, Southeastern Public Service Authority and Birdsboro Corporation. In 1993, while still active in her father's many companies, Posner Ward was described as "one of the world's wealthiest women".

Tracy O'Neil Porter is a former American football cornerback. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Claeys served as the head football coach at University of Minnesota from midway into the 2015 season thru the end of the 2016 season. Claeys served as an assistant for Jerry Kill for 21 years at Saginaw Valley State University, Emporia State University, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Northern Illinois University, and Minnesota—the last 16 as his defensive coordinator. From 2018 to 2019, Claeys was the defensive coordinator at Washington State University
