Sepp Herberger
Josef "Sepp" Herberger was a German football player and manager. He is most famous for being the manager of the West German national team which won the 1954 FIFA World Cup final, a match later dubbed The Miracle of Bern, defeating the overwhelming favourites from Hungary. Previously he had also coached the Breslau Eleven, one of the greatest teams in German football history.

Josef Dieter "Sepp" Maier is a German former professional football goalkeeper who played for Bayern Munich and the Germany national football team. Regarded as one of Germany's greatest goalkeepers, he was nicknamed "Die Katze von Anzing" for his fast reflexes, agility, flexibility, speed, and consistency; in addition to his shot-stopping ability, Maier was also known for his ability to dominate his box, as well as his sense of humour and personality throughout his career, which made him a fan favourite. Regarding his playing style, he once quipped "a keeper should give off a sense of calm, and not fall asleep while doing so."

Josef "Sepp" Schellhorn is an Austrian entrepreneur, restaurateur, and politician of NEOS – The New Austria and Liberal Forum. He has been deputy chairman of NEOS since 2018. He is also chairman of the party's Salzburg branch. Since 2014, he has been a member of the National Council.

Josef Ferstl Sr., known as Sepp Ferstl, is a retired German World Cup alpine ski racer who won the Hahnenkamm, the world's most prestigious downhill race, in consecutive years (1978, 1979). He made his World Cup debut at the race in 1974 at age 19, and won a silver medal at the World Championships in 1978 in the combined.
