Admiral Sir Peter Warren, KB was a British naval officer from Ireland who commanded the naval forces in the attack on the French fortress of Louisbourg, Nova Scotia in 1745. He later sat as MP for Westminster.

Peter [de] Thellusson was a Genevan businessman and banker who settled in London, and became a British citizen in 1762. He amassed a fortune through commerce with slave traders and owners and, when he died in 1797, he owned more than 4,000 acres of land in England. His descendants built new Brodsworth Hall, which is maintained by the charity English Heritage Trust.

Henry James, better known as Peter Broggs, was a Jamaican roots reggae vocalist and songwriter.

Peter I was count of Savoy and margrave of Turin jointly with his brother Amadeus II of Savoy from c. 1060 to 1078. He ruled only nominally, as true power was in the hands of his mother, Adelaide of Susa.
